Chris is the proud new father of Sparrow and Eden and husband of Adrienne. He has a 4-year BA degree in Commerce and Psychology, a Bachelor of Religious Education in Theology with highest honours, some masters level courses in finance, he is a graduate of the prestigious Arrow leadership program at the Masters level, and has recently been awarded the 'Top 35 Christian Leaders Under 35' in Canada award.

Chris is the lead pastor and teacher at ‘The Gathering’ and shares from his life experience in the business world with the TD bank and the federal government. His hands-on ministry experience includes being a conference speaker and the recent Gen-X pastor at David Mainse’s (100 Huntley) former church in Hamilton, Ontario. He is a licensed minister with the PAOC and an ordained minister with the Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren. His strongest gifts are leadership, teaching, and evangelism.
