What are the Barnabas Awards?
Nine awards given annually by ‘The Gathering’ to people giving back to the greater Riverside South Community.

Love Award – Someone who has exhibited unconditional love for others.

Joy Award – Someone who has been able to create a sense of joy for others.

Peace Award – Someone who has been a peacemaker.

Patience Award – Someone who has shown incredible patience with a person or group of people.

Kindness Award – Someone who has gone out of their way to show incredible kindness to people in our community.

Goodness Award – Someone who has done something above and beyond the norm in their volunteer position.

Gentleness Award – Someone who has bridled power to be a calming influence in a difficult circumstance.

Faithfulness Award – Someone who has shown incredible dedication in his or her service to the Greater Riverside South Community or Ottawa area.

Self-Control Award – Someone who has been able to help people to gain control of an area of their life that was out of control.
